The Isle of Thunder: Stage 2

Dear players,

the fruits of your hard labour are finally here! After the month-long effort, countless trials, and the innumerable mogu, Zandalari, and saurok destroyed, spirits vanquished, tombs desecrated, and skyscreamers scared off, the forces of Lei Shen have thinned enough for the next stage of the war to begin!

Starting from tomorrow, after the daily quest reset, the assault on Shaol’mara and Zeb’tula will be available, progressing the battle and the state of the Isle of Thunder! Once the assault is finished and your faction’s new base of operations is built, new quests will be available, as well as the Assignment Map, offering to pick between PvE and PvP-oriented activities for the day. The next goal is clear ‒ it is time to bring the war to the Thunder King‘s palace and break the walls surrounding it!

Now, we would also like to address your feedback regarding the length of the first stage, and our decisions for the coming ones. We understand the speed of the progress has been unsatisfactory for many of you. We have initially set it up in a way that took a month to progress the stage, and now we are in a position with way more data and insight into the process, for us to be able to adjust and improve the situation. For the next stage, we have made several major improvements aimed at increasing the speed of the progress, including more sources of progress, such as NPCs, rare elites, and other activities, so the stage should advance much more quickly even at the current pace.

We would like to sincerely thank all of you who participated in the war effort up to this point. You have faced the challenges of the Isle with true heroism, and your dedication has brought us one step closer to breaking the storm and reclaiming the island. As the next phase begins, we hope you tackle it with the same fervour as before, prepare for the fresh trials that are on the horizon, and stand victorious!
