Dear players,

as promised, today we would like to announce some additional information about the upcoming launch of patch 5.2, and the Throne of Thunder raid!

First of all, there are a few more details to add regarding the launch that we have been asked about:

• On Wednesday, the PvP seasons on Helios and Erebos will enter a transition period for the coming evaluation week. During this time, you will not be able to join Arenas and Rated Battlegrounds.
• All Valor Points will be converted to Justice Points (or gold if over the cap of 4000, at a rate of 47 silver per point).
• All Conquest Points will be converted to Honor Points (or gold if over the cap of 4000, at a rate of 35 silver per point).
• With the launch of the patch, the 10-man and 25-man raid ID split will be disabled, and will be enabled again one week after the first Heroic: Ra-den.

Now, more importantly, we wish to share the results of our recent poll regarding the launch dates for the Throne of Thunder raid. Based on the results, we have decided for the following schedule, to meet the needs of the majority of our community:

• Throne of Thunder Normal Mode will open this Wednesday! The realm will be restarted for the patch to be applied at 9 AM, and if there are no unexpected problems, the raid will be opened at 6 PM (might be delayed by up to 2 hours).
• Heroic Mode will be available starting January 1st.

With this schedule, you will have plenty of time to both enjoy the holidays and gear up and prepare yourselves for the intense raiding in January! For the full schedule, including the launches of LFR wings of Throne of Thunder, please see here.
